Join us! - 17/12/2025 Webinar ‘The Evidence Behind Activity-Based Working’
What if the future of workplace design wasn’t driven by trends or opinions, but by science?
We’re kicking off our upcoming webinar with a research-based deep dive into Activity-Based Working (ABW), a workplace concept that goes far beyond flexible seating. Are you still hearing that employees only thrive when glued to the same desk, in the same room, at the same time, regardless of what their tasks actually require? ABW challenges organisations to design environments that truly match the cognitive, social and emotional needs of their people. But what does the evidence actually say? And how do employees really experience these spaces?
To answer those questions, we’re bringing together three international experts who research the relationship between workspace design, behaviour and performance:
Dr. Nigel Oseland – Environmental psychologist & workplace strategist
Dr. Ann Sophie Lauterbach – Researcher in evidence-based workplace design
Anton Maes – Board member of IFMA Belgium and the Workplace Evolutionaires Leader for Belgium.
Together, they’ll unpack the science behind ABW and explore how well-designed environments can enhance well-being, collaboration, focus and overall organisational performance.
